I ordered the Bird/Bees sando. Chicken tenders came out piping hot & crispy! The best I've ever had. The sides are less than $3 so I ordered the corn & Mac n cheese. So much thick crispy chicken that oversized the bun so I put some of the tender bits on the Mac n cheese ... was super delish. The staff are so nice & get thru the long line very fast. I got there right at 11am & the line was out the door by 11:30am on a Monday! Parking is limited, get there early to avoid the wait. Very clean interior & lots of outside covered patio seating.

Walking in there was a line backed to the door with menus easily accessible to review. The space is small with better seating outside so you're not eating with people over you who are standing in line. The line did move quick. We enjoyed our meal outside. Great customer service. Food was pretty good. We split a small dark plate with Medium heat and also ordered the jumbo chicken tender with no sauce. The Medium heat was just right. Just enough spice. We had a ton of sides (all of them I believe). The collards were flavorful. Beans and slaw were ok. The smoked Gouda Mac was smoky and flavorful. Overall a nice Lunch experience.

WOW! Anytime I'm in Lakeland and craving chicken, this is my go to spot. So delicious. This is chicken done right, juicy, moist, crispy and huge and delicious! I haven't had another fried chicken sandwich like it and that bird sauce is EVERYTHING! The restaurant is located on a small corner so it's a little tight getting in and out and there's limited parking especially when it gets crowded. So I would definitely try to avoid this restaurant at the peak times. I would go either just before the rush or after. The restaurant is small inside offering a few tables and chairs and bar sitting inside but there's more tables and chairs on the outside. The staff are friendly and quickly get the food out to you. My 2 favorite things to get here are the G.O.A.T and the Bird & the Bee. You can't go wrong with either. The G.O.A.T is savory and comes as tenders, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and mayo. The Bird & the Bee is sweet and comes as tenders, whipped butter, hot honey and sweet pickles. Lately, I have been getting the G.O.A.T and add the hot honey and the bird sauce try it and thank me later. My favorite sides are the fries and the tomato and cucumber salad.

The food is absolutely fabulous fresh and just like grandma made but w more spice. And the price is not bad considering what a meal costs of fast food. The service is great as well and the ambiance is totally worth fighting for a parking space over lol.

Best chicken I've had south of South Carolina. The staff was wonderful. The ambience of the restaurants was clean and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this establishment for another meal. I would highly recommend it to anybody that likes spicy chicken.

So I was in town for some training and decide to try these almost famous chicken tenders. Place was easy to find. Parking was a little bit small but matched the inside, if parking was full I would say it would be packed inside. The decor was cute and the service friendly. I ordered 3 tenders. I was happy to hear I could split the tenders in different spice levels so I got two southern and one medium because I wasn't feeling to spicy. Let me just say, the medium is a true medium, do not consider it mild just because that is there first heat level. I am a sucker for sauces so I tried the bird sauce, the dill ranch, and the blue cheese. The blue cheese was good, but just average. The bird sauce came in second. It tasted so familiar but hard to put a finger on it. It was sweet, creamy (definitely mayo based) and garlicky. I'd definitely get it again. The best sauce though for me was the dill ranch! So, so, so delicious. For side of course I tried the mac and cheese and the baked beans. The mac and cheese was really good. I liked how they use ditalini noodles. I think that helps get so much cheesy goodness with every bite. The baked beans were also solid and you can definitely taste the hint if bourbon. All in all solid meal. Two tenders would have definitely been enough, they are large. If you're in the area and want some solid chicken, swing by and give them a try.

Came here on a whim after a day at Busch Gardens. I didn't know what to expect when I first ordered, but as it turns out, I ended up getting likely the best fried chicken I've had in my entire life. Their mac and cheese was shockingly delicious even for me, someone often picky about mac and cheese, and the fries were also amazing. The people working here are very nice, too, and although it was very crowded, it never felt too crowded to enjoy. If you have the chance to go here, you will almost certainly love it. I really want to return in the future even if it's far away from the place my family stays at when we go to Florida, because it's just that amazing.

My opinion of LoveBird has changed drastically since I wrote my initial review. Yes, in the beginning their service and the experience was pretty rough. But the product is so delicious it's worth it. LoveBird manages to stay super busy because the chicken really is that good, so even all these years later it's a poppin' establishment. I quote enjoy their collard greens and fries as well. The fries are thick and crunchy, and they have a house made ranch that's just fabulous. What I really like about LoveBird though is their branding. The hot pink electric music vibe is so well done and it's fun and unique. I do think the line to order could still be better. They only have one physical register which makes zero sense considering how consistently busy they stay. Recently they have had another person taking orders on a tablet but I still think this is the one thing they've always had issues with that still need improvement.
